Samsung Galaxy Tab S12: a bigger canvas for creators
Samsung’s new tablets put creative tools and a bigger workspace in the spotlight. Here’s the quick update.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and S12+ on 30 September. If you create content, take notes, or like working away from your desk, this is one to watch. Samsung’s official announcement
What’s new?
The Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen, while the S12+ has a 12.6-inch display. Both offer 120Hz AMOLED panels, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, and an included S Pen. They run Android 17 with One UI 9.
The creative angle is interesting: Samsung says Photoshop comes preloaded, with S Pen support and a four-month premium mobile trial. Samsung DeX also provides a desktop-style workspace. App access and offers can vary by market.
Price and availability
The announced US release is 7 October. Starting prices are $1,199.99 for the S12+ and $1,399.99 for the Ultra. Those are US prices, not Ghana prices; this announcement does not confirm Ghanaian availability.
